Breeze joined her half sister "Windy," and elder Toller "Rescue" at Tamarac Tollers in June 2006. She is a remarkably beautiful, intelligent and hard-working Toller whose accomplishments at a very young age have been highly unusual. At age 7 months she earned her Canine Good Citizen certificate and at one year she attained her Rally Novice title and first Companion Dog leg. She completed her CD title at age 16 months and when she was 18 months old she finished her CD-H title.
Breeze earned her first AKC agility title at age 17 months and first dock diving title at age 14 months.
At just a week past her second birthday, Breeze compleated her AKC CDX title! Breeze will be taking an obedience break for a few months While she concentrates on the field and whelps a litter of puppies.
By the end of 2008, at two and a half years of age, Breeze had received 16 titles including her CDX, JH, WC, AX, AXJ, RN and earned her first MACH Points! Before she came into season and was bred (May 2009), Breeze had a total of 112 MACH points, 3 MX and 4 MXJ legs and a Double Q. She has multiple dock diving titles, has currently 9 points in conformation, and does regular therapy and service dog work. This young Toller is incredible!
Breeze is actively field-training and showing great drive and promise. She will start running Senior Hunter tests in the Spring of 2010 as her 2009 season was cut short due to her litter of puppies.
While half-sister Windy is indeed a compulsive "whirlwind," Breeze is considerably opposite in nature, truly a "breeze." She has a calm, gentle demeanor and "think-it-through," deliberative thought process. However, when there is work or play at hand and excitement in the air, true to Toller form she is vibrant and full of drive. Atypical of most Tollers that get "creative", once Breeze understands what is expected, that's it. As her confidence grows, so does her excitment level and drive. This is a dog who runs her blinds as hard as she runs her marks, a dog that flies over the agility jumps, and is still calm enough in the obedience ring to be deliberate and select the correct article in Utility. Breeze is truly as much of a joy to train as she is exciting to watch work.
